Anti-Exceptionalism About Logic

2016-2020

I am the Principal Investigator of the project `Anti-Exceptionalism About Logic’, funded by the Norwegian Research Council‘s FRIPRO-scheme. The project investigates the consequences of rejecting the traditional claim that logical theories have an epistemological privilege, for instance because they are a priori, foundational, formal, or analytic. Read the project description for details.

A Postdoctoral Fellow and a PhD student will form the research team in Bergen. In addition, the project is supported by an Advisory Board consisting of Ruth Byrne (Trinity College Dublin), Hannes Leitgeb (LMU Munich), James Levine (Trinity College Dublin), Øystein Linnebo (Universitetet i Oslo), and Stewart Shapiro (Ohio State University). Gil Sagi (LMU Munich) is joining the project team as Visiting Researcher.

The Logic of Truth

2016-2019

Eduardo Barrio (University of Buenos Aires) and I have set up a Buenos Aires-MCPM network funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and CONICET. The network funds joint workshops and travel for the Buenos Aires Logic Group and the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy.
